What is the difference between God and Lord?

Placeholder ImageMost, if not all, translations of the Bible use the words, God, Lord, or LORD for the names of God in the Bible, however the Hebrew for these words is vastly different.  God for example is El (the Unique One), HaEl (the Unique One of Death), Elohei (the Righteous One of), Eloah (the Neglected Real One), Elohav (his Righteous One), Eloheinu (our Righteous One), Elohim - which is plural (our Authors of Life), HaElohim - which is plural (our Authors of Death).  Yet the meaning of each of these words is different, often using multiple different words for God in the same verse, but all you see is the term ‘God’.  The term ‘Lord’ has the same issue with all the other Bibles out there become the Hebrew for Lord comes from five different words, not including YHVH (Love), which is typically shown as LORD, we have Adon (General), Adoni (Master), Adonoi - which is plural (Preordainers of all), Adonei (Royal Highness), and Adonai - which is plural(Celestial Judges).  Again each one has an actually fundamental difference in the meaning. Consider some of the verses below between the most used versions and the NCB - (New Canon Bible).

NIV (Genesis 5:24) Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Placeholder ImageNCB - Enoch walked with his Gods of Death and he was not, because the Gods, he took him.

ESV (Psalms 50:22) - Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver!

NCB - Now consider this, you who forget the Goddess, or I will tear you apart, and there will be no one to rescue you.

AMP (Joshua 3:11) - Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is passing over before you into the Jordan!

NCB - Look, the Ark of the Covenant of the General of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you into the Jordan River.

NIV (1 Samuel 25:10) Nabal answered David’s servants, “Who is this David? Who is this son of Jesse? Many servants are breaking away from their masters these days.

NCB - Then Nabal answered David's servants, “Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse? There are many enlistments now-a-days who are going AWOL from their Generals.

NIV (1 Samuel 26:16) What you have done is not good. As surely as the Lord lives, you and your men must die, because you did not guard your master, the Lord’s anointed. Look around you. Where are the king’s spear and water jug that were near his head?

NCB -  This thing that you have done is not good. As Love lives, you are worthy to die, because you have not guarded your royal highness, Love’s anointed. Now look where the King's spear is, and the jug of water that was by his head.”

NLV (Psalms 7:11) God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day.

NCB - The Gods is a righteous judge, the God who is fuming every day.

Why are all the other translations deficient?

The source for Biblical Translations comes from two sources: The Greek Septuagint and the Hebrew.  The Greek Septuagint does not distinguish between the differences in the names of God.  The Hebrew, both Muslims and Jews refuse to believe that Jesus is the Son of God or in the Trinity so for the plural names they will say these are the attributes of God, his power, his glory etc.  However, God never says this of his name.  Why does the Church feel the need to cater to other religions at the expense of the Word of God?  Who are they serving or putting first when they do this?
